etc readers
Titles published in the etc series are thematic readers in newspaper format. Each reader adresses
a current, politicaly relevant issue from different, unexpected, inspiring perspectives. We challenge
authors from different backgrounds and different places around the world to declare their personal
position either in written or visuals form. Each issue consists out the actual publication as well as
events about the same topic (e.g. exhibitions, talks).

Books released by etc publications are developed in close connection and editorial collaboration
with the artists involved.

the publishers:

Nicolas Bourquin
lives and works in Berlin. Raised in Switzerland he studied graphic design at the Hochschule
für Gestaltung in Biel. He works under the label onlab on several graphic projects. His latest
book projects are Los, Dos, Tres Logos, Pictolasma 2 and Altitude for Die Gestalten Verlag
in Berlin.

Sven Ehmann
lives and works in Berlin. He is a co-founder of filesharing, curator of the exhibition sneakers etc.
and of the filesharing | showroom - a series of exhibitions on young, international design. He
currently works as an editior at Die Gestalten Verlag in Berlin.

Krystian Woznicki
lives in Berlin and has been active as an independent curator since 1991. Between 1995 and
1998 he was the Tokyo-editor of Spex and since 1999 he has been working as the founding
editor of the digital mini-feuilleton Berliner Gazette.
